A day in Tangier…

Yesterday we popped over to Tangiers for the day. Just 47km. as the crow flies from Vejer and less than an hour in the ferry from the small port of Tarifa, Morrocco’s northernmost town makes a great day out. We went to order new uniforms for next season for our restaurant and hotel staff. On the way we picked up some Jerusalem Artichokes, fenugreek and other spices for the kitchen. We always eat at the Saveur Poisson on the steps near the Hotel Minzah (closed Fridays). Slightly mad place but great food, a set menu of lots of fish dishes of which yesterday’s favorite was pan fried baby squid with coriander. A must.

Delicioso!
