Writing fiction by the sea

Knowledge or Imagination – to the writer, which is more important?  Should you wait for inspiration to come to you, or go out and find it?  During this course, award winning authors Andrew Miller & Tobias Hill will explore the practice of good writing, whether it be prose or poetry, and the particular challenges of characterisation, description, dialogue and narrative…

This course is not at the Califa but at the friendly rural hotel, El Palomar de la Breña. Dinner however will be one night at the Califa and on this evening there will be a pre-dinner talk by the well known Spanglophile author Jason Webster (‘Guerra’, ‘Duende’, ‘Andalus’) at the Califa’s ‘teteria’ Los Balcones del Califa.

If you are interested in joining this course contact Art House Holidays directly. They have some places available for budding authors who just want to do the course without accommodation or book the course and stay at the Califa…
