Canoeing with Ospreys near Vejer

I enjoyed a great day out with one of our family groups (Discover Andalucia) a couple of days ago. Started off a bit stormy in the Embalse de Barbate (near Alcalá de los Gazules) just a 30 min. drive from Vejer. The recently re-introduced (from Scandinavia) Ospreys  have started breeding here for the first time in 60 years in the Iberian Peninsula. I took this unusual photo from the canoe of two seagulls attacking a young Osprey for the fish you can just see hanging from it’s talons.
